Domain sales are final
Except where applicable law requires otherwise, all confirmed domain-name purchases are final and non-refundable. DNOM does not provide refunds because a buyer changes their mind, no longer wants the domain, selected the wrong domain, or fails to complete the transfer steps. Buyers must check the exact domain name, price and purchase method before paying.
Immediate fulfilment
DNOM may remove a purchased domain from sale and begin fulfilment immediately after order acceptance. At checkout, the buyer requests immediate fulfilment and acknowledges the non-refundable nature of the transaction once fulfilment has begun, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Consumer cancellation rights
Consumers may have a statutory right to cancel a distance contract. If you ask DNOM to begin a transfer or related service during the cancellation period, we may require an express request and acknowledgement before work starts. Where permitted by law, we may deduct a proportionate amount for services performed before a valid cancellation, and the right may end when the service is fully performed with the required consent.
DNOM cannot fulfil
If DNOM cannot verify ownership, cannot supply the domain as described, or cannot complete the agreed transfer, we will cancel the affected order and return the relevant payment to the original payment method.
After transfer
A completed domain transfer is final and cannot ordinarily be reversed. This does not affect statutory rights or remedies where a domain was not supplied as agreed. We will investigate fraud, duplicate charges and material listing errors promptly.
Lease-to-own plans
DNOM retains legal ownership and control of a lease-to-own domain until every payment has cleared. If a payment becomes overdue, the buyer has 30 calendar days from its due date to bring the account fully up to date. If the account remains overdue after 30 days, DNOM may cancel the contract, recover or retain the domain, and return it to DNOM’s portfolio for resale. Payments already made are non-refundable and are retained as payment for use of the domain and participation in the plan, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method unless the law requires otherwise. Processing time after DNOM issues a refund depends on the payment provider and your bank.
